What’s the weather like at Biscarrosse beaches?
Having been awarded the “Villes et Villages fleuris Quatre fleurs” label, this part of France stands out for its many forests and lakes. The third-largest town in the Landes département, it is also a seaside resort that delights tourists every year, with winds ideal for board sports. A tourist mecca
The city has been organized in such a way as to offer tourists three different and very distinct areas for their vacations.
- The first tourism cluster is called Biscarrosse Ville. It brings together all the sites that bear witness to its history.
- The second tourist attraction is Biscarrosse Lac. Located just seven kilometers from the town center, it comprises three lakes: the small Lac de Cazaux-Sanguinet and Lac de Biscarrosse-Parentis.
- The third pole is, of course, the Beach , which refers to the seaside resort with its four kilometers of fine sand. It’s all the more important to know whether the climate is favorable.

What’s the weather forecast?
To make the most of the fine sand, it’s important that the weather is mild, with no gusts, rain, thunderstorms or a hint of wind for water sports enthusiasts. This place lives to the rhythm of the four seasons: spring, winter, summer and autumn.
The summer season begins in June and ends in September. During this period, the forecast calls for sunshine almost every day, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 28°C. Summer rainfall is the lowest of the year, averaging around 75 m². In summer, there’s plenty of sunshine, with a high UV index of around 7. The summer period can sometimes be plagued by small thunderstorms.
Winter, on the other hand, is far from favorable. Biscarrosse regularly experiences rain showers, gusts of wind and temperatures ranging from 8°C to 13°C. Not the best time to visit the beaches.
Spring is the season that heralds the return of fine weather to the beaches. While the weather in March is not exactly kind, by the beginning of May the weather begins to warm up, with an average temperature of 22°C and increasing sunshine.
Finally, autumn is also a time when the weather can be mild. Especially in October, when conditions are favorable enough to enjoy the beaches.
